Snow

its just a dusting,
but it will have all the kids excited
a taste of winter
all the rooflines are highlighted

its not enough to hold me from working
or driving to the other side of town
nor should I let it
get me down

Go with the flow,my sensible self says
it is nature and the seasons you love
not a problem, anymore
just a snowdrift at your door.

I remember snow, we had it in Indiana and Pennsylvania and even Oklahoma. But Mississippi and Virginia Beach? Rare. I miss snow.... sometimes.

Here from Michele.

That's a good attitude to have, David. I am not sure I could be so accepting of it.....lol....itis beautiful to look at, but I'd rather not have to deal with it.

P.S. Thanks for the visit; no I didn't see you on video and I can't find a link for it. Can you point me in the right direction?

This is lovely David, I think the last time I saw snow was when we visited the US and took a tour of the Grand Canyon in December 1998.. I'd love to have snow for Christmas..not likely in Sydney :)

Hey, David. I live down in Crestline; our home sets at 5000 feet and we had snow forecast for last night, but it didn't arrive. :( We only received a bit of rain and quite a lot of fog. I love snow and can't wait for a nice big one.

Sometime after four (didn't notice the exact time) this afternoon, Jerry and I traveled up 18 and 138 to arrive in Crestline. During that time we saw the most magnificent display of the sun. Did you happen to see it? It hung as a red ball over the valley...and was startling in its beauty.

God's great, huh! Made this magnificent world, then put us here to enjoy it...and to worship Him. I do so freely.

Blessings and joy!

They say it may snow here, I doubt it - but we'll see...
