visiting here is like looking at an old version of me. not bad, not so good, really TRYING to grow, express and live out my faith. I have changed a LOT, changed by caring for my mom, changed as I watched my boys get married, changed as I watched Hannah work her way through 4 years of higher ( spirit filled) education, Changed when my mom passed into the arms of Jesus, and changed again in Septenmber of that year on the top of the tallest mountain in the lower 48 states ( Mt Whitney) - The best change has been my closeness to the Lord, and my willingness to be used by Him in prayer. I love my church and the people that make up that expression of the Body of Christ. I have seen so much good, and overcome many personal obstacles that held me back in the past. a new month is upon us, and I am planning a new hike into the Sierras in a few weeks to feel again what it is like to be all alone with God in a very remote and high place. God's will be done in your life, friend.
