pondering

i am thinking about a new label
"things to do/fix on the boat"

or maybe a weekly column

or perhaps take one of my underused blogs and convert it to:
Sailors delight!

what's eating you

i
it seems like somethings have been eating at the rudder of the boat I just bought.
thirty year old plywood has lost its protective layer of anti-fouling paint
and become a rotten mess.... soon it will be replaced
Mister woodcraft ( myself) will make a new one. Quick.
the dolphins and other sea creatures want us to come watch them play again.

let it ring

you have a unique voice
a special song to sing
that the Father of Lights is waiting to hear
don't be quiet when there is still breath in your lungs

You have a perspective that no one else shares
your view of life and of the creator
is 'one of a kind' so please share it with others
we promise to listen and really hear you

this moment in time is fleeting
and will not come again
let the goodness of God be on your lips and in your heart
let the freedom that He gives you ring out into our world.

dreamy

i woke up on a sail boat this morning
I woke up on My sail boat this morning
I woke up on My sail boat this morning, floating in the prettiest marina
I woke up on my sailboat this morning after test sailing it Saturday for the first time

Now I need to name it.

Thank you bill Murray

Today, the famous groundhog Punxsutawney Phil emerges from his burrow and predicts the beginning of spring or proclaims six more weeks of winter. It’s all tied to whether or not Phil sees his shadow.

I am sure that you heard that PETA wants a robotic or animatronic Phil.
Hooey! The unempolyment rate in PA is too high already from mechanization and outsourcing.
I say let Phil keep his job.
