Thanks for sharing this, David. One of the reasons we invest so much in ensuring the Holocaust is never forgotten is precisely this: that it is NOT solely a story of the Jews. Rather, it is the story of us all. If we let our guard down, even for a blink, it can happen to anyone.

Indeed, it already has.

The holocaust happened - it happened to my grandparents; who weren't Jews btw - their only crime was to be Polish.
As Carmi said; it not only *could* hsppen, it *did* happen....

To deny the reality is an insult to all those people who lost lives and loved ones during those terrible years.
