two steps forward, one step back

or so it seems

Thank you to all of you who pray for me
as I seem to be hanging on by the slimmest of threads

or maybe it is God who is hanging on to me and in that case I
do not need to worry so much, just begin to listen harder for what he is saying
and be willing to GO where he is sending me.
Today it seemed good to go on a walk with my mother
just up the street and back, so that is what we did,
and you know what? It felt great.

I am His servant
even if I am rebellious and disobedient at times.

You remind me of a lot of King David...a man after God's own heart. He wasn't perfect but he acknowledged God and learned from his mistakes...and went on to do great things because of his faith and perseverance.

I don't know what your need is, but I just said a prayer for you.

Btw, Michele sent me.

And He wouldn't want it any other way. Besides, keeps Him on his toes!

Hope your Mom is doing well.
I think God would get bored with us if we didn't go off track once in awhile.
I've been praying for you every day for years now! See, it's working- you're ok!

Sorry you haven't been feeling well. I do hope you feel more yourself soon.

I am reminded very much of the story where a man, looking back over his life saw two sets of footprints. His and those of God. When times got tough the man only saw one set however adn asked Him why he had been deserted in his hour of need. We all know that the reason was because he was being carried. Even though it might not seem like it at times. But you already know this :)

You are not only like King David, David S, but you are like Benjamin too.
I love this verse;

Deuteronomy 33:12
And of Benjamin he said, The beloved of the LORD shall dwell in safety by him; and the Lord shall cover him all the day long, and he shall dwell between his shoulders.

God bless you and your mom.
I am sending you an email...love Terry

Thought I'd left a note here earlier, but it got washed away somehow... I was here tho!

So many people are having it tough lately,n they're not used to it, n so they are down. You'd think that us folks who are used to having it tough most of the time would have an easier go of it- but not so-

David of the Bible did write all those beautiful psalms- so do you sometimes!

Hang in there!
