Cool Picture David! It does look like one of Carmi's. It is beautiful too, Looks like Treebark to me, maybe a Buttonwood tree?
Here from Michele's tonight, hope things are warmer where you are than they are at my place tonight!

That is one strange photo Cavid. For the life of me I can't figure it out. But you are right, Carmi would love it!

Thanks for dropping by my blog earlier.

What in the world...??!?!? I have PMS, so it vaguely reminds me of chocolate.

I love Carmi's photos. Yours is a find though! Nicely taken. Here via Michele's.

That does look like a picture that Carmi would post, David. Great texture on that bark.

Temperatures here are the same as yours. 27 right now and 43 projected for tomorrow. It's not as pretty here tho.

Michele sent me over, David.

great shot, love the light, but because of the "alive" word I was scared to find termites or something when zooming-in...
have a great weekend!

Tree bark has such wonderful textures. Michele didn't send me, but you seemed to have been missed, so I hopped over anyway

Very interesting shot David. I (like Mar) was half scared to enlarge because of something else it might reveal!

Nice blog. Michelle sends her best.

wwcp. I think this post nails it, so to speak. Nice detail. I especially like the deep shadows in the bark.

From Michele's,

Mike

Hello David,
Michele sent me. Nice how you push people to go to other people in some link love.

Lovely texture of tree bark. Reminds me of camping-canoe trips.
