where there is smoke, there is good, natural stinky wood heat keeping this family warm and keeping the heating bills WAY down.
Where there is smoke there is a way to tell which way the wind is blowing.
Where there is smoke, there is someone home and probably baking or canning something yummy!

oh, for a wood fire stove and the smell of yummy food...Unfortunately no wood fire here but the smells from baking food is pretty good:-)
