I love this shot. Feathers have always presented such a rich, fascinating target of photographic opportunity.

You're a good son, David. My mom and I aren't close - even though we live in the same house. I don't think she would allow me to care for her. She's 82 and in excellent health. Praise God for that!
Having my Mom around after growing up was great! I really miss her company- n the extended family dinners she insisted on.

Oh the feathers are beautiful..The softness of the touch of feathers I can relate to my own mother..this photo gives me a loving feeling and thankyou for sharing this shot..
I understand what you are going through..my father is now in an aged care facilty he has advance dementia, strokes etc this year..and my mum has not been too well..the feathers wow..just meaningful..
