nature's composition

i was just lucky enough to have a camera.

notice how the flowers with defects do not offend you?
neither should the humans.
---------------------------------
The flowers speak:
"we are all planted here on this hillside
briefly enjoying the same fine summer breeze and soaking up the gentle rains.
Our heads follow the sun's path across the sky
our bright faces reflect the glory of our creator
we bump into one another and some are taller than others. but we are all his creation. all precious, all lovely in his sight."
Learn from the flowers. Don't focus so hard on yourself, it is vanity, or on your neighbor, it will lead to discord. Focus on God, in heaven who gives life and creates beauty, for soon the winter snow will come and blot us all out with its killing frost. Then only He will be. Posted by Picasa

Thanks so much for your words of wisdom and the flowers pictures. Daisy's. Beautiful Daisy's.

Your writing touched me and I was awestruck. Lemme tell ya, for this medically overdosed girl, awestruck is something I don't get too often! =o)

Loved the other posts too. I'll be back to read more.

Michele sent me, David.

A good point you make about the flowers, David, however a florist might not agree. I think you have the better perspective though--but if I was paying for the flowers I might shift my perspective a mite.

Since I don't pay for people, they can have any damn defect they want. It's all the same to me. Your perspective way up on Sugarloaf is very clear, David.

Love your words about imperfect flowers...didn't want you to be the last one playing the M&G game, so I decided to stop by and say hellom Michele sent me this time. I am glad she did!
