Happy Birthday America, Jimi is playing your song. Thanks to all who help me make this blog thing more interesting.

This is my place for writing and reflecting on life here in the mountains. Close to the sky, close to my children and family and most certainly feeling the closeness of God my Savior.

What a lovely bird! I used to have a cockatiel named Monty. He loved to hear easy listening music, so we named him after Montovany! (sp?) Anyhow, here via Michele. Have a great weekend!
i stil have a few montovani Lp's
( for the younger set, that was before cd's before cassete tape before 8 track tapes). I also used to listen to reel to reel recordings whoa baby that was cool
I have a blue-front amazon. What is mango? His beak is smaller than an amazon. He is pretty... does he talk?
LOVE
he or she is a LoveBird, who lives alone. what kind of deal is that?
Oh well
Hope you enjoyed your coffee this morning.
Here from Michele's again.
Hi Mango - what a lovely bird you are.
that is a beautiful bird!
Mango is a cutie! Michele sent me this morning :)
Mango is gorgeous...
i used to have a cockatiel called Diesel...he'd sing you Happy Birthday even if it wasnt your birthday, or for anything in particular at all...
i loved it when he used to run around right infront of the HUGE glass front door we had and my cat Smokey would eye him off the whole time... too funny.. what a cheeky baby!
I come from the country, but different to yours, we have Eucalyptus trees as opposed to Pines... but we also had Pines...
i love my sunburnt country
here via michele's via adelaide, australia!
A gorgeous bird!! My daught-in-law has a sun conure and she almost named hers Mango. I wish she had, because Sammy is not nearly as nice a name....LOL
P.S. I think she decided on Sammy because I told her I liked Mango. Her Sammy doesn't like me or DIL's mother - she will bite me in a heartbeat, if given the opportunity. I love him anyway.
