to go sailing, with an able first mate toward the horizon of middle age ( I am going to live forever) with a fair wind on the beam and the sun on my back, with a spray off the bow wake to cool me on the hot summer day.

This is my place for writing and reflecting on life here in the mountains. Close to the sky, close to my children and family and most certainly feeling the closeness of God my Savior.

Go for it, but don't wait. Life has a way of catching up with you. I have always wanted to ride a horse and jump those fences. Well, now that I am 70, I will put it on my list of things to do in my next life. At my age it pays to believe in reincarnation.=-)
Age is just a number David. You are only as old as you feel. Joining you on that boat would be a very enjoyable experience. Whom ever wins your heart and gets that ride will be a very lucky person indeed.
good dream! very doable! so when do you set sail, o captain? ;)
i am on the 30 day road to recovering my sailing skills - so the boat leaves the dock on July 4th ( or therabouts)
beautiful pix! good luck fulfilling your dreams!
