This is my place for writing and reflecting on life here in the mountains. Close to the sky, close to my children and family and most certainly feeling the closeness of God my Savior.

Hi Dave,
As I said my blog today on PPP of View; I'm "a day late and a dollar short." But I'm here finally to say hello (Thanks for yours last week) as a member of Carol's Friendly Friday Marching Band.
Your project looks great. Made me think of this Koan.

Deep Thoughts by Jack Handey:
'If you're in a war, instead of throwing a hand grenade at the enemy, throw one of those small pumpkins. Maybe it'll make everyone think how stupid war is, and while they are thinking, you can throw a real grenade at them.'

so does THIS explain the small pumpkin??????
