Good friends and good food

I took the day off
Gary and I drove south and he visited family
and I visited a very good friend who has some work for me
Lots of work! we sat and talked, we shopped for food at a cool Thai grocery
we reminisced about old days, and yes it made me feel better!

She cooked a very yummy dinner which I enjoyed with her two fantastic sons.
I most definitely ate too much, but enjoyed the whole experience so much that
I over did it. Gary was through with his "family " visit, and it was going to be a
three hour ride home. I grabbed a bottle of her home made cabernet 2003
and saddled up in the truck, one cuppa coffee and $30 in gas later
and we are home safe and going for a regular work day tomorrow.
Blessed are the words and wise counsel of a caring friend in a time of great need.
I am more blessed than I ever would have anticipated.
