Hmmm...don't know how wise it is to put paint overtop wallpaper. I know of someone who recently was renovating one of the rooms in her house. They wanted to remove ugly wallpaper and found that it had been stuck overtop of paint that had been put overtop of wallpaper. They had a devil of a time removing it. So, I say all that to say this: maybe it would be better to remove the wallpaper first, then paint...but it is entirely up to you! Whatever you choose, enjoy doing it :o)

Down with flower power, you can do it!

Don't paint over it, take it off. The peeling process will give you something to do when you are bored, tired, and frustrated.

Puke is the only word coming to my mind.

I remember that pattern... we had something like that on our kitchen chairs when I ws growing up. Keep it, David, you need to be in touch with your feminine side.

I'm not sure which scared me more - the wallpaper or the rug. ;) Thanks for stopping by my little spot of the web.

Oh yuck. The first thing I thought of was Charlotte Perkins' short story, "The Yellow Wallpaper". Freaky!

Michele sent me.

Looks like your wallpaper was from the same era as ours. I would remove it, not paint over it. You can still see the seams and if any of the paper is loose, it will ruin the paint job.

Michele sent me. Our weather is sunny, clear and cold. We need rain badly, so send it our way!

Where is this? In the bathroom so you can puke at it?
