Bad for the home team

34 to zero is a rout
34 is a huge number
Zero is not even trying

34 messages on an answering machine
Zero that I have played back
I finally turned it off

there is really no point in talking anymore, or even listening to others talk.
I need quiet

He stands and we are eye to eye, I am looking at the blackest soul I have ever seen. I know this is a demon, murder is its name. I shout, with as much authority as I can, "Stop, in Jesus name!"

You wrote that back in July.

I'll still comment. Even if you don't want to hear it.

Thanks for telling me/ reminding me of the issues at hand. I feel like I've been a terrible friend because you'd already said it once.

It cannot always be this bad, but you may need a shoulder to cry on and some serious guidance.

I am praying for those things, and also for you to come out from under this cloud of depression.

David, the point of all this is 1. That God is with you every second and 2. Through Jesus, He's given you the power to do the same thing as you did on that street. Stand up, point your finger in the face of the evil one, and say, "STOP IT IN JESUS NAME!!!"

Sorry I haven't been around much, have papers and stuff due...crunch time.

I don't know what you are going through, but I will pray for you.

Being quiet.. and needing quiet.. isn't always *all* bad, David. Sometimes if you have that quiet time, you can just sit, and hear God talking to you.. the sun may peep out from behind the black clouds, and things might look a little brighter.

I know.. I'm just another faceless person talking (typing) here.. but honestly, I've been in the depths of depression too. Can't remember what exactly was the turning point for me.. but it lifted... and it will for you too... just trust and believe in Him, and He'll help you. He's the Friend who sticks closer than a brother...

((hugs))

Depression sucks.
God is with us, guiding us.
