Taking me to the streets

well ( deep thought) i am simply changing my focus from what is right here before me, a disappointing election, to what is in God's view.
What is He looking at and concerned about?
If He used the United States to grow His church around the world then it may be my privilege to be part of that international movement.
If He uses wonderful Christ honoring organizations like Compassion International and World Vision to aid the poor and suffering, could He also use me to go, or to contribute to His work of grace and mercy around the globe?  I pray it may be so.
Hineni, here I am Lord, send me.

 1 Thess. 5v4
But you, brothers and sisters, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief. You are all children of the light and children of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness. So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be awake and sober. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, get drunk at night. But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet. For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. 10 He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him. 11 Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.

Remember all authority is granted to man by our King Jesus - the final out come of all elections is the result of God's approval and so we must obey and hold up before God in prayer asking for God to protect and bless these elected people.
