and then I found this tidbit...
I was feeling stupid until I read this:
At an after-work party in 1993, Canadian attorney Garry Hoy was showing a group of visiting law students how unbreakable the windows were in the Toronto-Dominion Bank Tower (center). He threw himself against one and it held. He did it again, and it gave way. Hoy plunged 24 stories to his death.

I had a boss in the Navy that had one of the best sayings, ever!
"The Stupid Shall Be Punished"
Does make you feel a little better about your day for sure.
"Stupid is as stupid does"
-Forrest Gumps mother.
Michele sent me to consider the irony of that situation. Especially as it was a lawyer.
What can I say??
Michele sent me.
Whoops. :)
Michele sent me. Have a great weekend.
Gee, I don't think I wanted to read that today. Or any day.
Hi, I'm here from Michele's place.
Thanks David for that jolly story before I go to bed. If I have nightmares I shall know who to blame:)It's my second visit today so thank you for having a new post.
Michele sent me and now I'm off to bed. Night night!
I wonder if he yelled
"I can fly!"
on the way down...
Now I feel smart, too-
i read more, he was 39
i mean, does that seem a little old for showing off to college girls?
I wonder if his estate sued the window manufacturer?
Oh David! I am soooo glad I stopped in - I am sure that I have worked with him or someone in his family in my past however many years of employment....I only wish I had been there when it happened if he had been one of those that I have worked for or with.....Michele sent me this time but I really like it here and would have come on my own later...have a great end of the week.
Michele sent me, David. I can't believe I'd not heard of that guy before this. How stupid can you be??!!
I remember when this happened ... I was working a couple buildings away. What the heck was he thinking?!
