If your are happy and optomistic about the future...

Plant a tree.
if you are Nuts, like me ( just ask the squirrels)
you will plant 22 trees this weekend!
10 Poplar - 12 Colorado Blue Spruce.

This will make me really happy,
Maybe it will make AlGore happy, too.
Do you wanna bet I will plant more trees in my lifetime than he and Hillary put together?

then I have 50 summer bulbs to find a place for.
THANK GOD for gardening supply catalogs,
I am close to being in heaven
Seems like praying and hearing God talk are easier when you are on your knees, putting something beautiful in the ground.

I am SO in the mood for planting this weekend. I'm going to try tomatoes in a planter instead of the ground this time, so wish me luck!

It sounds like you'll be really busy this weekend!
Now I feel guilty for not tagging you to play ;). You have been gone so much recently that I honestly didn't know if you had the time or inclination!! Next time...promise ;)
Love ya...happy planting! :)

LOL! I don't know about the poor plants that I put in the ground -- but you're right - just being on your knees is a good thing! I think God likes to see me keep coming back -- cuz EVERYTHING I plant dies!

I'm glad you're planting trees. It is so important to restore habitat for our animal friends.

Tree planting and getting soil against the muscles of one's hands is bound to make a positive change. :)

Ack, I may've either just lost my comment, or submitted a fragment... Forgive my tired clumsiness...

I tried to say:

Yay! Good deed!

I've been dropping seeds from my Spruce n Fir trees all over town because that's what the forests here used to be a hundred years ago. There were Elm also, but having trouble finding Elm seeds since the Dutch Elm Disease began killing them all here.
Of course keeping the little trees healthy under present conditions will be difficult.
Hope your trees live long n prosper!
