arena of decorative concrete
was this square bird bath.
It looks really good with the snow on it
it may need some polishing,
or a decorative tile border.
Today I am working on
a concrete table top and a concrete desk top.
pictures to follow.

This is my place for writing and reflecting on life here in the mountains. Close to the sky, close to my children and family and most certainly feeling the closeness of God my Savior.

WOW - that's a beautiful photo
Hi David. I followed your link from a comment you left with Lazy Daisy. It peaked my curiosity when I saw "shalom". It's refreshing to find other believers. Love your pictures.
Don't you have to form n set the cement indoors so it'll set correctly when it's frozen outside?
Playing with cement counters n tables must be fun. I saw the dude on TV put all kinds of rock n tile-bits into one which looked pretty cool after he was done-
Wish I had time to play with artful-anything this week... enjoy!
a friend of mine has a concrete bathroom counter and it is beautiful.
YES yes Yes,
countertops are what I ( have done and) want to do more of. I will need to get up to date pics of the Kitchen I did, it really was fabulous and very unique ( ho hum, everyone has granite.... yawn)
a concrete desk? intriguing......

This looks like a new and facinating area to experiment on in photography. All the best!
I love the snow accent! Is that custom ordered, or is it available off the shelf??
Michele sent me,
Mike
I love the outline of this shape in the snow. A concrete desk huh?
Might have to come back to see that!
Michele sent me to say hi.
Did you actual;ly make it? So clever!
a friend of mine who is a kitchen designer, just did a million dollar renovation of a house and they put in poured concrete countertops that are gorgeous. I really liked them a lot.
Here from Michele
