taking my chainsaw and trailerright smack in the middle of this expanse
to cut some iron wood
(cercocarpus ledifolius )for my woodstove
so i will be warm this winter
going alone. Just me and the saw...
and God, because he lives out there.

saturday was also a good day ( aka: no work)
so I made two more trips, my front yard is looking like a BIG woodpile, I feel warmer already, but it could be too much sun.
ps. i would like to thank my saw, it performed well, and my beloved, who understands my need for this machine.

good for you, dave. We had to order our wood..it is there at the entrance, waiting to be taken (manually!) to one corner of our backyard. A whole ton of it...
