This is my place for writing and reflecting on life here in the mountains. Close to the sky, close to my children and family and most certainly feeling the closeness of God my Savior.

rhymes with HEY!
what color is this hair? and is it really mine??? so sad
It is a badge of honor of the lives we have led. I happen to think you look scrumptious (oops insert strike there, grin) great, so quit the worry or it will turn white and not gray! hehehe
Amongst the long red hair I sport, is my own share of that color... only I refer to it as blonde highlights. *wink* Coloring is too expensive and to be honest, I kinda like those badges of age :)
hey Margalit, Grey is the new Red! Trumpet, your dad was wise - he must have had some gray hairs, yes? DONT EVEN ask me about women, I am up in the middle of the night too often because of them. grins, let go of the stylist and step away from the hair color! Phoenix, sisiter, and beloved Carol; I am happy with my hair and with myself, finally after 50 years I know what I want and that I do not have to hide who I am to be loved and accepted. may God grant that to ALL of you and your deepest hearts desires as well. My love is toward you as the rising sun is strong on the eastern horizon.
Joe, I love you man. I pray that you and all of south florida are safe and sound. I took this pic to document my skin spots so I can assure my loved ones that I am not getting malenoma or mela luca or melancholy. in a year I take new pics- if the spots are the same, I am cool.
Living life, higher at 7000 feet elevation. Where the smell of pines, a distinct nip in the air, the sunset and sunrise displays of color and light fill your soul and set your spirit soaring. From high atop the mountains, nowhere near the city, I think, I write, I try to make you laugh. It is just me, my oxygen deprived brain and my bird and squirrel friends.
I am a lover of God, and I am a lover of life. My three wonderful children help me be a better man, and I consider fatherhood my most important role. These kids have made my life meaningful and filled with beauty. Nothing compares to them or gets between us.
My mom lived 91 years and as youngest I was privileged to make sure she was comfortable and safe in her own home, was never alone, had plenty of friends and family coming around. She knew, before she passed away, how much we kids appreciated all she did for us over the many years.
I am the youngest of five. I have ADD and it makes me fun, or irritating, depending on who you ask.
Most of all I am real, so this blog has fun aspects and then serious writings, too. You get both, for one click of the mouse.

Mine is similar in hue, but there's much less of it.

Yeah, it could be worse!
I don't know what you're talking about. I don't have a single gray (gags hair stylist and hides her bottle of color)
My dad used to say: "grey hair only comes from women or wisdom... you pick ! "
Wow, you're grayer than I am. That's a feat!
I love my gray hair. I earned every strand of it.
