Beware of the Grinch!

that would be the sign on my gate - if I had a gate.
I just sent the grimmest email
and now I go forth to shop
and see if I can buy some holiday spirit
enough for one day.
I always did root for the guy who stole all the toys
and I think that the meaning of that story was
that even if there were no "trappings" of
Christmas, there still could be joy.
but then that was Dr. Suess
Fiction

what do you think - and what does the sign on your gate read?

Sign on gate:
Friends and Family gather here,
To join in Winter Christmas cheer.

Praying that in some small way you can find joy. Remember that the true Joy-giver is the one who gives us life, and gives it abudantly.

Blessings to you!

I think that Christmas is not about presents and stuff...that is more like the icing on the cake so to speak.

Sign on the gate: Jesus is the Reason for the season!

Folks I love your gate signs- and now I am taking mine down.... since the Grinch only is grumpy from his own sense of insecurity, and having examined the heart of christmas I have decided that its bark ( the media/marketing/news idiots) is worse that its bite. I repent of being so negative, and cheered by my loving family and your good wishes I will do better to see the hope for the future and not be haunted by spirits of Christmases past!
