Road trip

wow
400 miles to check out an aging ( but affordable ) RV for a friend
its looks good, starts right up and will probably
get a lot of TLC this summer and some trips around our southland

Was glad for a day away, but all the driving kicked my butt!

Sunnier today

thankful for the light from above,
but it is still a very Blue Monday

I love the lake, and the ocean, and miss being out on the water.

end of the world??

if we go by a big blast or by a new ice age,
I don't care. Knowing where I am going and with whom
takes away my anxiety.

i tweaked the colors on this pic, till it looked like a nuclear blast

greenhouse

..
.
..
.
.
.
.

While it is still topless and has only three sides, you can see here the beginnings of my 9x12 greenhouse.

we lack the heat here in the mountains to do proper tomatoes... and it freezes so late in the spring and early in the fall that I get little produce. this way I will be able to grow more crops and much longer.

I am in love with my RECYCLED doors and the designs they created.

G O O D Friday

for some its just a reason to leave work early.

to others its a religious ritual

To believers in Jesus it is perhaps the most solemn day on the calendar.
even if Jesus were just a man and did what He did THINKING he was
helping with our sin problem, that would have been a dynamic feat.
To die that way with such grace and composure surely took all He had.
I am amazed at His strength and endurance. ( I need some of that for my life, Lord!)

Good Friday is good for Christians and for Jews, for Muslims and Hindus, Buddhists and atheists as well. It would be good today to think, ponder, wonder aloud if there is ANYONE like Jesus of Nazareth? Was there ever a person so pure, and so self sacrificial as He?
IF GOD SENT SOMEONE to save you, what would he look like, how would he sound?

When we say we don't need salvation, we are deceived and we call God a liar, for Hie word says we have all sinned and fallen short of His glory.
