wow - today was good.
found new ways to think, and to do
worked on MANY different things
the Rv battery situation
the hose repairs
choosing a trim color
cleaning off more of the front driveway
watering all around the property
planning aspects of the workshop ( under the tree house)
went to dinner with mom and my beloved
set up a small water fountain ion the front yard
wrote a piece of the camping story
made plans for tomorrow
and resumed work on the Kayak.....
getting ready for the first layer of fiber glass on the hull.

i am happy, full and can't wait for the sun to come up

greenhouse

While it is still topless and has only three sides, you can see here the beginnings of my 9x12 greenhouse.

we lack the heat here in the mountains to do proper tomatoes... and it freezes so late in the spring and early in the fall that I get little produce. this way I will be able to grow more crops and much longer.

I am in love with my RECYCLED doors and the designs they created.

Tree apartment news

so many new ( small and large) changes and additions to the tree house:
a deck and ramp attach it to the main house
felt on the roof to make it rain tight ( shingles coming soon.)
installed 4'x8' picture window in living room
trim outside making the siding look nearly finished ( paint soon)
one of the front doors is in place,
all of it looking great
thanks to the crew and the young tree house builder, Jared
who has been my inspiration so many times.

i guess i will go over to the meet n greet to see what is new......

soon to church, but first an update

I took some more pictures of the tree house last evening.
I am very proud of the progress and so thankful to the many hands that have contributed.
the design is fabulous as it unfolds ( like a big market umbrella)
and the space will be small, so my efficiency and neatness will need to improve.
Life, right now is about getting down to the essence. Using my heart, talent and brain to make less seem like more.

I lost an important relationship a couple months ago, it hurt, a lot, but did not kill me, so I guess I am getting stronger. My work, my family my friends keep me sane as I look forward to fall, and the move to my 400 sqare feet of "writers room" artist's retreat/ midlife madness.

wireless access soon, at home, i think
